Jacqui Collier

Head Chair

16 years experience as a Senior Sales and Marketing Manager for Tamarack Homes. She is a host of ‘Design Ideas with Jacqui’, a weekly interior design segment with CKWS TV. With a love for building houses and an excitement to be part of a team who strive to build homes as well as hope, Jacqui is grateful for this opportunity to give back to the community. 

Chris Scott

Vice Chair

Chris is a valued member of the Kingston Community who has devoted his time and expertise with multiple community organizations and programs including the Boys and Girls Club, Big Brother Big Sisters, the Special Olympics, and the Kingston Area Minor Hockey Association. Thirty-two years as a police officer provided first-hand insight into the important role that housing plays in the health of people in our society, drawing Chris to Habitat and our mission. Chris recently retired from his job as Deputy Chief with the Kingston Police. 

Marilyn Croteau

Treasurer

A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) currently working as a Partner with MNP here in Kingston, where she helps businesses and not-for-profit organizations manage all their accounting needs. She joined Habitat KLR in 2019, bringing with her a wealth of financial not-for-profit experience 

Ellen Henderson

Secretary

A Ph.D. in Political Science from Queen’s University with over 30 years of experience as a Marketing Director in strategic communications and marketing at the federal level. Ellen has become a devoted Habitat supporter starting at Habitat for Humanity Ottawa. She supported Habitat Homeowners fulfill their sweat equity hours and encouraged a partnership with Corrections Canada to promote the participation of federal inmates on build sites across Canada. 

Tina Hinch

Board Member

With 26 years of experience working in the Financial Services Industry with Royal Bank, Tina’s passion to help families become homeowners began with her first RBC Build Day in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Canada. Since that moment, she has assisted in organizing several build days with the staff and is excited to work on the Board of Directors alongside an exceptional team making a difference for local families. 

Sylvie DesHaies

Board Member

After starting her real estate career in Ottawa, Sylvie has served on various committees as well as Director on the Board of Directors, and Vice-President of the Ottawa Real Estate Board. As a Director on the Board of Directors, Sylvie has extensive experience directing and assisting with Kingston Interval House, an emergency shelter and second stage housing facility for women, children and youth experiencing violence. This experience has led Sylvie to expand her range of kindness and join as a Director on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity Kingston Limestone Region.

Habitat for Humanity Kingston Limestone Region’s day to day operations are run by a group of determined and passionate individuals who work towards building stability, strength and self-reliance in Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington.
