The Square Foot of Hope is a campaign designated to building new homes in the Kingston Limestone Region. Whether you wish to donate as an individual or a team of people, it costs $200 per square foot. You can donate one square foot or an entire room if you wish.
The homes are built according to the size of the family and their needs, including accessibility. The average 3-bedroom home is 1,050 square feet.
Over the next two years, Habitat Kingston Limestone Region will build new homes totaling 8,000 square feet to help serve the need for affordable homes.

donate to the ReStore
Habitat ReStore accepts donations of new and gently-used home furnishing, appliances, and renovation items. ReStore proceeds go to help support our work with families. Donations can be dropped off or arranged for pick-up with larger items.
Donations are accepted Mon-Sat 10am – 4pm

donate construction materials and services
- Building Materials: tools, roofing, windows, doors, plywood, lumber, flooring, insulation, counters, cabinets, etc.
- Professional Services: consultants, architects, civil, electrical and mechanical engineers
- Trades Services: plumbing, electrical, drywall, roofing, concrete forming, HVAC
- Wood Workshop Tools: band saws, mitre saws, table saws, planers, nail guns, shop vacuums, drills, sanders, etc.

Do you own land that you would consider donating or selling? We need to obtain land at a reasonable cost in order to continue developing affordable housing for hardworking, low income families.
We are mainly looking for larger lots, side by side so that we can use our resources most efficiently by building simple, decent, affordable semis.
Donors can receive a tax benefit while helping to revitalize Kingston communities.
donate a car
Donate A Car Canada accepts vehicle donations (including RV, boat, motorcycles, etc.) for Habitat For Humanity Kingston Limestone Region. Donations can be dropped off or towed for free depending on your location. Donated vehicles will either be recycled or sold at auction depending on its condition, age, and location.
After your Vehicle Donation is complete, Habitat For Humanity Kingston Limestone Region will send you a tax receipt within 45 days.
